Audio Sequel Series To Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist Announced

This isn’t stopping anyone from making an animated-for-Youtube adaptation.

The original animated series for Comedy Central, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, is on its way back…kinda.

Audible has announced that on June 8th, Dr. Katz: The Audio Files will premiere that will take place 20 years after the animated show of yesteryear. Set to return to the series is Ben (H. Jon Benjamin) who apparently hasn’t moved out of his dad’s house after all these years and still has the same job.

Sarah Silverman, Ted Danson, Ray Romano, Margaret Cho, Weird Al, Maria Bamford, Pete Holmes, Dana Gould, Emo Philips, Ron Funches, and Andy Kindler have been announced as celebrity patients as part of 15-minute episodes that will be available for either a $5 a month subscription on Audible Channels or made available to those who already are subscribed to Amazon’s Prime service.
