Adventure Time and Regular Show comics crossover in the works

Crossovers abound, from Freddy vs. Jason and Alien vs. Predator to Marvel Cinematic Universe crossovers on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In comics, universes collide regularly. IDW united Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Transformers met Spider-Man, and even the Lone Gunman from The X-Files met the Ghostbusters and the Ninja Turtles. As Entertainment Weekly reports, Adventure Time and Regular Show are slated for a forthcoming crossover comic series.

BOOM! Studios company KaBOOM! will debut a crossover series. The upcoming comic run will hit shelves in August 2017. It’s appropriately named Adventure Time/Regular Show. KaBOOM!’s series follows Princes Bubblegum from Adventure Time who asks Jake and Quinn with a mission to locate The Power. This is the sole item that can save Ooo from a fresh villain. Unfortunately, Skip from Regular Show has it hidden.

Fitting with the themes of both shows and the universes, expect lots of pandemonium and zaniness. Both series are not new to comics, having their own separate comic series. This next run will, however, combine the two universes for what promises to deliver loads of fun.
