A “Futurama” Radioplay Is On The Way

I guess this was the “HUGE” project that David X. Cohen was teasing a few months back.

Nerdist will play host to a brand-new radio-play episode of Futurama on September 14th that will see the entire cast read a freshly prepared 42-minute episode of the long running animated series, just a heck of a lot less animated. All of this is being done in support of Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow, a new mobile game inspired by the show that ran for seven seasons and four movies before it was canceled.

The new episode will be on Nerdist.com and there’s already a countdown link that you can see for the event here.
