New and returning shows get dated for FOX ADHD; Axe Cop/Lucas/Golan/New Shows
Inside sources tell me that FOX ADHD is pretty much planned out for the year in terms of new and returning shows, however things could always change. Here’s what we know:
Axe Cop/Stone Quackers
It has been officially confirmed that Axe Cop season two will begin on FOX on April 5th, however FOX is introducing a brand-new series to partner with the returning series and it’s called Stone Quackers. Right now, there is NOTHING about this series in terms of plot/screens/trailers to help us figure out what this series is even going to be about nor are there any real details on Axe Cop season two though at least with the web comics maybe we can draw SOME conclusions. Stone Quackers is a mystery at this juncture.
Lucas Bros./Golan/Major Lazers
Lucas Bros we have known for a while is coming back, but now we know it won’t be returning on April 5th as originally announced by the FOX ADHD Facebook page, rather the series will return sometime in the Fall of 2014. We are also getting the return of Golan the Insatiable which is AWESOME news for fans. Lastly, it looks as though there is an animated series on the way inspired by popular electronic music project Major Lazer. Not much is known about the series except that this COULD be the top-secret show that FOX ADHD hinted at earlier this year featuring Vampire Weekend’s lead singer.
The Tozer Show
So, we told you guys about an Amber Tozer animated series in the works for FOX ADHD, however according to Splitsider, the show has NOT officially been picked up by FOX, but that there is a deal in place and we are just waiting to hear whether or not the animated series will be of the 15 or 30 minute variety. I actually think that last little bit is rather interesting due to the fact that as of yet FOX ADHD does not feature any 30 minute shows, however with the possibility of a third series being added to the lineup later this year maybe FOX is looking to expand on the lineup some how and take advantage of its full allocated hour.
